All counseling sessions take place here at the same time: general social counseling, psychological counseling, everyday counseling and health counseling.
Together we can:
Discuss worries and fears
clarify what support is necessary and desired
seek relief in everyday life
organise further offers of help
Find information that will help
Fill out applications for health insurance or authorities (job centre, housing benefit, child benefit, ...)
We work confidentially and as equals.
We show solidarity and respect your self-determination.
Our counselling team is currently staffed by social workers, health and nursing professionals, occupational therapists and psychologists - which is why our consultation hours are interdisciplinary.
More about the individual counselling sessions:
The majority of our counselling sessions are currently staffed by white people . We are aware that many BIPoC (Black Indigenous and People of Colour) have to deal with racist discrimination, especially in counselling and therapy contexts - i.e. in particularly vulnerable situations. We see ourselves as a power-critical collective and try to deal with this issue on an ongoing basis and educate ourselves. In counselling contexts, however, we would above all like to recognise your expertise and power of definition in relation to experiences of discrimination, which you bring to counselling for your own concerns and with your specific background.
