News – January 2026
We are advertising a position in the Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) for 15.05.2026 in the area of event organisation and fundraising.
The organisation
The Solidarische Gesundheitszentrum Leipzig e.V. is a district health centre in Leipzig's Schönefeld district. Our approach is to take a holistic and interdisciplinary view of health. Above all, we focus on the social causes of illness and health instead of seeing health as an individual responsibility.
Your tasks
Planning, organisation and implementation of solidarity events and fundraising campaigns
Creative development of new event and campaign concepts to support the association and project work
Co-supervision of the "Open Door" as the first point of contact for the polyclinic
Participation in team, working group and collective meetings
Regular participation in the fortnightly plenary session (Thursdays, 6-8 pm)
We offer
Collaboration in a collective team that endeavours to work together as equals
Insight into grassroots democratic structures and collective decision-making processes
An appreciative, discrimination-sensitive working context
Regular supervision and space for reflection and dialogue
Participation in group weekends, further training and supra-regional networking meetings
Opportunities to help shape the organisation through your own ideas and projects
We are looking for
you are over 18 years old, open, communicative and interested in neighbourhood work
you treat different people with appreciation and impartiality
you are interested in grassroots democratic working methods and are curious about joint decision-making processes
you work responsibly and attentively and are willing to honour agreements
you have experience in event planning and implementation
We are happy if applicants bring these experiences and skills with them. However, we also see a BFD as a learning opportunity.
We also see the BFD as a low-paid voluntary position. The so-called monthly pocket money of €250 is exempt from deductions if you receive citizen's allowance. We endeavour to make the conditions as fair and transparent as possible.
Application
We work with an intersectional and diversity-sensitive approach, which should be reflected not only in the implementation of our programmes, but also in the composition of our team. In order to fulfil our aspirations, we would like to give priority to applications from people who have experienced discrimination. If you would like to tell us something about your position that we should take into account, you can indicate this in your application or email.
We are also interested in finding out about you and your personal motivation. Send a short letter of motivation without a photo with a few details about yourself to the following address by 28 February 2026: bewerbung@poliklinik-leipzig.org
