What is becoming apparent these days: Everything depends on the capacities of a healthcare system. To what extent the German healthcare system will be able to cope with the Corona pandemic remains to be seen. But even before the outbreak of the Corona virus, nurses at German hospitals were complaining of overwork. Patients could no longer be adequately cared for with the existing bed capacities. The nursing crisis was and is a much-discussed problem - created, among other things, by the economization of health care.
