Politics – June 2019
On June 5 & 6, the health ministers of the states and the federal government met in Leipzig for their annual conference - against this, the trade union ver.di organized a demonstration that moved across the Ring to the conference venue. About 3000 people took part, mainly nurses.
In the run-up to the conference, together with other health policy groups and initiatives, we founded the network "Critical Health Plenum Leipzig" and also called for the demonstration.
During the final rally, the Olympic letter was presented to Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn.
