"I know who you are"

ADHS Website Banner (4).png

You Google something and I’ll tell you who you are. Not because I know you, but because the moment you visit a website, a fair bit of information about you is revealed: what device you’re using, your approximate location, and what you’re searching for.

At the kick-off for the IT Input project, we’ll take a look behind the scenes together. In plain language, without technical jargon and without lecturing:

• What data do you reveal when you’re browsing the internet?

• What can be deduced from this?

• Is that a good or a bad thing – and what can you do about it yourself?

And what does this have to do with health? More than many people realise. Our lives are becoming increasingly digital; there are plenty of sensational headlines, ignorance and uncertainty – even amongst professionals. This can be stressful and add to the strain of everyday life, leading some to lose the desire to engage with technology.

This series of talks aims to engage with you, provide clarity, offer transparency amidst sensationalist headlines, and give you the opportunity to make an informed decision. Whether it’s AI, data protection or the cloud, let’s explore these topics together.

Who’s it for: anyone in the neighbourhood who’s interested – whether you’re curious, sceptical or just fed up.
