Yoga & Relaxation

Exercise and relaxation help to cope with stress. The groups offer a comfortable and loving space to learn together different techniques that help to deal with tension.

No matter how old you are, what language you speak, how flexible your body is or what gender you are: we want to get moving together and learn different techniques to deal with ourselves gently, away from the norm of supposedly beautiful, gender-conforming and well-trained bodies.

When knowledge is imparted that comes from a different culture, we want to be sensitive and appreciative of it in the Poliklinik. This includes educating ourselves and listening to people. We are always open to your feedback.

Yoga is a philosophy from India that includes physical exercises (asana) as well as breathing techniques (pranayama), relaxation and meditation. Basic elements of yoga and also historical backgrounds play an important role in the groups.

The groups are led by Mari. Mari is white, non-binary and, in addition to her occupational therapy training, has completed a yoga training in India and is currently working on their health insurance certification as a medical yoga teacher.

It goes on! From 14.12.23 at 5 pm in the polyclinic we will start again with a yoga offer for FLINTA*

The groups are currently running with registration, but you can still come by at any time and have a look. If you speak a language other than German or English, we will find a solution, you can participate in any case!
