In our consultations, we repeatedly meet people who have racist experiences in the
health care system. These range from
lack of understanding and disbelief on the part of those treating them to exclusion, stigmatization and traumatization. We would like to contribute to the fact that treaters* acquire more knowledge about racism and deal with their role in the system of racism.
The Psychosocial Counseling team is organizing an anti-racism training from July 23 - 25, 2021, inviting people who work in health and healing professions. The leaders of the workshop are from Phoenix e.V. There will also be colleagues from the team of the Polyclinic as participants.
